Eleanor Roosevelt so eloquently said “beautiful young people are accidents of nature, but beautiful old people are works of art.” I am blessed that my mother, a proper Southern lady and true “work of art,” was able to live independently until her 85th birthday. She is now in an assisted living facility progressing through the late stages of dementia. I am so grateful to be part of the InnovAge organization.
