Event will be July 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Older adults, family caregivers, and U.S. military veterans are invited to join InnovAge for an afternoon of food, music, and fun while learning about InnovAge LIFE. This Senior Day will be held on Saturday, July 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at InnovAge’s Allegheny LIFE center, 1940 West Allegheny Ave. The event will include burgers and hot dogs, a live DJ, free blood pressure and pulse screenings, and a drawing for a summer fun gift basket. Tours of InnovAge’s LIFE center will be offered to show how InnovAge helps seniors age independently at home.
Known nationally as the Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly, LIFE is an alternative to nursing facilities that is designed to keep older adults independent and living at home for as long as safely possible. InnovAge’s summer event is being held in cooperation with Councilwoman Cindy Bass, the Allegheny West Foundation, and Deliverance CDC.
RSVPs are requested at 855-898-5030 or ACorter@MyInnovAge.com
