In the midst of an incredibly challenging year for our country and world, I am immensely thankful for the entire InnovAge family: our employees, participants, and caregivers. Their strength and resilience have provided daily inspiration.
I am grateful to our exceptional staff. In March, they seamlessly moved from delivering center-based care to safely caring for our participants in their homes. We quickly implemented a robust telehealth program across the organization, performing over 60,000 telehealth visits to our seniors to date. We’ve also provided more than 5,000 face-to-face visits.
In addition, our team delivers thousands of daily meals and wellness calls. We keep seniors engaged with activity kits and virtual get-togethers with games, exercises, and more.
I’m grateful to our participants and their caregivers. They’ve been wonderful partners as we’ve changed how we deliver care in these complex and unprecedented times. Ensuring the physical and mental well-being of our seniors gives us a deep sense of purpose. Their trust in us is a great honor.
I’m grateful for the PACE | LIFE program. The pandemic has proven PACE | LIFE to be a preferred way to provide care for seniors now and in the future. While many other facilities have not been able to accept new patients, InnovAge has expanded to bring our program to more seniors during an especially critical time in their lives. This includes opening new centers in
Sacramento, Calif., and
Philadelphia, Penn., which brings our total to 18 centers serving five states.
Through the support of our participants, caregivers, partners, and specialty providers, we’ve been able to further our mission to help older adults remain independent in their homes and communities they love. With a thankful heart, the InnovAge team wishes everyone a happy and healthy holiday season.
