What I most enjoy about working with aging adults is their unique life stories.
Dr. Peterson enjoys caring for participants and being part of the dynamic, innovative organization of InnovAge. He enjoys the team spirit to accomplish the mission of the PACE program’s Interdisciplinary Team that creates, implements and monitors a care plan for each individual. Dr. Peterson attended Northwestern University Medical School, where he received his Doctor of Medicine (MD). He is board certified in Family Practice. He worked in Korea at Yongsan Health Clinic, and served as a clinic physician at two U.S. Army bases (Fort Bragg and Fort Stewart). He attended college and medical school in Illinois, and lived in North Carolina and Georgia before moving to Colorado where he enjoys an active lifestyle. He is married to a physician and has two children. He relishes spending time with his family, hiking, and playing tennis.
