InnovAge Employees Showing How Kindness Counts

This month, InnovAge is encouraging employees to “catch a colleague in an act of kindness.”
Valentine’s Day is a perfect time to celebrate kindness and gratitude toward participants, caregivers, colleagues, and ourselves.
For our employees, this could mean making sure they smile to brighten a participant’s day, or going the extra mile to help their colleagues.
To quote the author Henry James, “Three things in human life are important. The first is to be kind. The second is to be kind. And the third is to be kind.”
Recognizing kindness is important because it makes a difference for everyone around us. How we treat others shapes our work environment, which ultimately contributes to our company culture and environment of care.
The work InnovAge is doing to provide care for more seniors in more places depends in large part on having a workplace where all of our colleagues feel valued.
I am grateful to our employees for all they do, and proud of the work they do each day to make things better for those around them.
