InnovAge Pennsylvania LIFE

Center Director

My grandparents’ experiences inspired my decision to join the field of senior care. I love the LIFE model of care because I feel it is exactly what seniors and their families want most: the opportunity to stay in their own homes for as long as possible.

Shari is the center director for InnovAge’s Germantown LIFE center. She has vast experience in the long-term care industry, including experience operating residential programs for seniors, skilled nursing, mental health, continuing care retirement communities, and home care.

Shari has earned degrees in business and art therapy. She is also a licensed nursing home administrator in the state of Pennsylvania.

Regional Medical Officer – Eastern Region

What attracted me to LIFE is its founding philosophy of aging gracefully in place. I believe it takes a village to keep an elder safe at home. My favorite part of my job is interacting with participants. I value the opportunity to care for them, as I learn so much from their experiences, which makes me a better physician and person.

Dr. Luz Ramos-Bonner earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of the East Philippines and her Master of Business Administration in Healthcare from George Washington University. She completed her internal medicine residency at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ and her geriatric medicine fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Ramos-Bonner is board certified in geriatric medicine. Previously, Dr. Ramos-Bonner served as the Network Medical Director of NewCourtland Senior Services in Philadelphia. She is a faculty member for the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care (AMDA) and an active member of the Pennsylvania chapter of the AMDA. Dr. Ramos Bonner loves to travel—she was born and raised in the Philippines and still has family there, exploring foods from around the world, and spending time with her family.
