Executive Director

I was led to my healthcare career by serving as a volunteer at the nursing home where my mother worked. I met so many wonderful people and knew that my mother was making a difference in their lives. It is my life goal to give back and to always provide the best care and services to our seniors.  

Mia Dempsey-Stahl is executive director of InnovAge LIFE in Pennsylvania. Mia began working with older adults through the LIFE program in 2014, where she first served as center director for the Allegheny LIFE center in Philadelphia. Prior to her work with the LIFE program, Mia worked as a healthcare administrator at various nursing home facilities in Pennsylvania, including Maplewood Nursing & Rehabilitation and Collingswood Manor. Mia earned both her bachelor’s and her master’s degrees in human services psychology from La Salle University in Philadelphia.

Center Director

I’ve worked in almost all areas of long-term care, and I truly believe the PACE model is the best way to care seniors. It is so gratifying to improve the quality of participants’ lives through my daily work. When they laugh and smile, it brings me great joy.

Jacquelynn brings more than 30 years of experience to her role as center director for InnovAge’s Germantown LIFE center, having served seniors in Philadelphia through the LIFE program, affordable housing, adult day care, skilled nursing, and senior centers.

Jacquelynn earned her master’s degree in health administration from St. Joseph’s University, and has a bachelor’s degree from Temple University in health management studies. She is also a licensed nursing home administrator in Pennsylvania.

Regional Medical Officer – Eastern Region

What attracted me to LIFE is its founding philosophy of aging gracefully in place. I believe it takes a village to keep an elder safe at home. My favorite part of my job is interacting with participants. I value the opportunity to care for them, as I learn so much from their experiences, which makes me a better physician and person.

Dr. Luz Ramos-Bonner earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of the East Philippines and her Master of Business Administration in Healthcare from George Washington University. She completed her internal medicine residency at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ and her geriatric medicine fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Ramos-Bonner is board certified in geriatric medicine. Previously, Dr. Ramos-Bonner served as the Network Medical Director of NewCourtland Senior Services in Philadelphia. She is a faculty member for the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care (AMDA) and an active member of the Pennsylvania chapter of the AMDA. Dr. Ramos Bonner loves to travel—she was born and raised in the Philippines and still has family there, exploring foods from around the world, and spending time with her family.

Medical Director

The LIFE model gives me the opportunity to create a customized care plan for participants in collaboration with members of the interdisciplinary team.

Dr. Guda earned his medical degree from the Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India. He completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ, and his geriatric fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine, geriatrics, and hospice and palliative care. Prior to joining InnovAge, he worked as a medical director for nursing home and assisted living facilities in New Jersey and served as a faculty member and associate program director for the internal medicine residency program at St. Francis Medical Center. Dr. Guda has worked in LIFE/PACE programs for the past 10 years and is passionate about the participant-focused approach to care. He is fluent in Hindi and Telugu and his hobbies include photography and cars.

Nurse Practitioner

I believe it’s important to maintain the physical function and personal dignity of older adults. Working at InnovAge allows me to be part of a team that makes a difference for people in our community.

Barbara earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Delaware and her Master of Science in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. She is certified as a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and has extensive experience in long-term care, home care and orthopaedic care. She has a special interest in treating osteoporosis and movement disorders. Barbara was born in California and grew up in New Jersey. She enjoys gardening and spending time outdoors.

Nurse Practitioner

I hope I can improve a participant’s quality of life by managing their healthcare using the LIFE model and working with the multidisciplinary team every day.

Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from DeSales University and her Master of Science in nursing from Villanova University. She completed her residency at St. Luke’s University Hospital, and she is a certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Prior to joining InnovAge, Jennifer worked in variety of care settings, including medical-surgical oncology, intensive care units and cardiac telemetry. After becoming a nurse practitioner in 2012, Jennifer worked in palliative and hospice care. Jennifer loves to go boating with her family, run, bike and watch her kids play sports.
