Helping participants and their families make thoughtful decisions about their healthcare is rewarding and interesting to me.
Nancy earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing, specializing in Family Nurse Practice, from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She has two additional degrees from the same university, a Bachelor Degree in Liberal Arts and another in Business Administration. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
She spent most of her career caring for the underserved in Pueblo. She worked in rural clinics in Tennessee and Kentucky. Nancy also worked at Indian Health Services in northern New Mexico.
Nancy enjoys reading science fiction, history and anything with a horse in it. She loves horses so much that she has an old mare in her large backyard. She and the mare now limit their rides to the neighborhood. Nancy also has dogs and works with her local kennel club for agility and obedience training.
