Dr. Ferrance received his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Virginia and his Doctor of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College. He completed his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the Medical College of Virginia. He is board certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, and hospice and palliative medicine. Prior to joining InnovAge, Dr. Ferrance was a hospitalist medical director and emergency room physician at Riverside Tappahannock Hospital. He is also an adjunct clinical faculty member at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System department of pediatrics, as well as the Via College of Osteopathic Medicine department of geriatrics. Dr. Ferrance enjoys wordworking, particularly pen-making, and performs as a DJ for special occasions—including PACE center events. He has been married for 32 years, and has three grown children.
